This End of Financial Year we are seeking your generous support to help deliver Human After All, an educational and cultural development project that aims to enhance social cohesion and community resilience.

Human After All
Based in Broadmeadows, Melbourne, Human After All is an intergenerational and cross cultural short film project documenting the journey of correspondence and connection between local school students and elders. Human After All is an ambitious community based educational and cultural development project developed by Flag Inc. and Banksia Gardens Community Services. The project will be delivered in Broadmeadows, Melbourne, and will involve three main components:
1. A Series of Creative Workshops
2. The creation of a Documentary Film
3. A Community Event (including film screening and exhibition)

Weekly creative workshops will run in order to guide the participants to create materials (photographs, videos, letters, objects, sound clips etc.) that will then be shared between these exchanges will build over a period of six months and generate a correspondence-based creative collaboration, the process documented on film throughout.

The project will culminate in an end of year event, open to all community members in December, 2021, which will be an accessible and, above all, community strengthening event. This event will include a public screening of the film and a presentation

Human After All will work to enhance a sense of community, promoting cohesion and inclusivity and also increase intercultural, intercommunity and inter-faith interactions.
