Jodie Brown | Chair
Jodie’s background is in tertiary education and project management and administration, with roles at the University of Western Australia, IDP Education Australia and Edith Cowan University. She has experience in teaching, writing, communications and fund-raising and is currently a yoga and meditation teacher. Jodie holds a Bachelor of Arts from Edith Cowan University and a Master of Philosophy (Australian Studies) from the University of Western Australia. She is passionate for the arts, and the belief that creative opportunities should be available to all.


Chloe Walker | Treasurer
Chloe has more than 20 years’ experience designing digital products, propositions and services for start-up companies to multinationals, including Redant Design in Sydney, Catalyst Group in New York and ANZ. Chloe has a passion for art and design and holds a Bachelor of Design and Masters of Design from University of Technology Sydney. She has also worked as a tutor and lecturer in design at UTS.


Clare Barry | Secretary
Clare is a journalist and editor with more than 25 years’ experience in newspapers, magazines, and online and custom publishing, including at The Age and Herald Sun. She writes on travel, sustainability and lifestyle as deputy editor of the RACV magazine, and believes in theatre’s power to delight and unite.


Joseph Appleton
Joseph is a theatre-maker who has worked with Flag Inc. as an artist, facilitator and director on projects including SIX, The Afternoon Wine Bar, and Trash ’n’ Treasure. Joseph’s practice draws on collaborative devising processes in order to develop unique creative works. He is also interested in collaborative research practices and their connection to play-building processes. He is currently working on his PhD at the University of Sydney’s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Charles Sturt University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching from University of Melbourne.


Naomi Brouwer
Naomi is an arts practitioner and educator with a socially engaged practice who has taught, directed and collaborated with organisations including St Martins Youth Arts, Signal (City of Melbourne), Canberra Youth Theatre and The Actors Centre (UK). Her work at Flag Inc. is grounded in humanistic philosophy and an inclusive, participant-centred approach to creativity and learning, with a focus on pursuing cross-cultural and intergenerational connections. Naomi has an MA in Applied Theatre (Melbourne University) and a Bachelor of Creative Arts (University of Wollongong).


Marmush Moynihan
Marmush works in community development with Banksia Gardens Community Services. He holds a Bachelor of Youth Work (RMIT) and is passionate about working with young people. Marmush appeared in multiple roles in Flag Inc’s Behind the Counter. An aspiring musician, he is new to the arts space and excited about exploring his creativity within it.


Georgina Ross
Georgina has worked in arts marketing for more than 15 years, including roles with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Snuff Puppets, the Sydney Theatre Company and Sydney Dance Company. She holds a Bachelor of Creative Arts (University of Wollongong), is a printmaker (who designed Flag Inc.’s little wolf logo), and also sings with Melbourne blues/soul band The Houndlings.
